Thanks to the Groningen (adult) survival association Hommes survival & Outdoor it is possible to train five days a week on the track at the Bunders. The table below lists all training moments at which our members can train. Most moddervetters train on Thursday 19:00. This training is suitable for both experienced people and absolute beginners.
Note: As a general rule, you are allowed to join the competition practices as soon as you can do a foot knot, swing-over, and monkey hang on your own.

Suitable clothing for survivalrun consists of (running) tights, running shoes with a reasonable profile, and a shirt that can get dirty. Trail shoes are often worn because they perform better in rough terrain, mud, and grass than running shoes. A tight takes some getting used to for some, but it really has indispensable properties for a survival run! Because you get T-shirts when participating in a survival run, they are generally used during training. In addition, new members receive a free moddervetshirt! If you just want to try out the sport, you can of course also do so with long sportpants, running shoes and an old sweater / T-shirt.
